We have volunteer opportunities for high school students who are in the National Honor Society Program. Our partnership with Volunteer Income Tax Assistance and Tax Counseling for the Elderly (VITA/TCE) program has been successful for the past three years. We are seeking students to assist with some clerical duties and greeting tax clients which be held at the Danville Public Library on Saturday mornings from 9:00 am-1:00 pm. The first Saturday will begin February 8, 2020 at 9:00 am-1:00 pm and will end April 4, 2020. This would be an great opportunity for the students to learn some new skills and gain community service hours. If you have any students that would like to participate, please, do not hesitate to give me a call by phone: 217-554-9144 or by email mail: I look forward to hearing from you soon.
